BELGIAN SEAFOODS
After three hours guided tour, I craved for some Belgian’s seafood. I walked along the square near Sint-Katelijnekerk (St. Catherine’s Church) and tried my very first taste of fresh oysters in a small fish bar named Oysters & Smørrebrød, located next to Nordzee. The oysters were fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this one. If you want to try other varieties of fish dishes, then you must join a bunch of people queuing in front of Nordzee.
After I had finished my entrée, I walked a little further from St. Catherine’s square to a restaurant named La Marèe. I ordered a Moules Au Vin Blanc (Muscles with white wine) and Le filet de Daurade (Fried Sea Bream). It was absolutely like heaven on Earth. If you like to try Brussels’ seafood local cuisine, I would recommend you to pay visit to La Marèe in Rue de Flandre 99.
