All the bars in Reykjavik are unique and individual. I'm a fan of The Big Lebowski film, and as such this immediately appealed to me as a film themed bar. Its probably one of the cheaper bars in the town for food and drink. I had a Honey Boo burger and white russian cocktails which were both very good. Its a bit of a sports bar with plenty of TV's.
This was a relaxed place, great for a beer but also serves food. In happy hour drinks are good value and I happened to be in front of the TV screen. Really good tasty burgers, very juicy! Also, try one of the Russians cocktails, they have a huge menu of them, very specialized. I happened to visit on a quiz night (Oscar quiz this time) & if i hadn't been so exhausted from my day trip, i probably would have stayed & played, although it looked very tricky!
I recommend you to walk in The Lebowski Bar for a beer, stayed for the honeyboo & the shakes, got tipsy on the white russian!
