A Birthday Weekend at 25Hours Bikini Berlin
Located right in the heart of Berlin’s City West district within the Bikini Berlin building, the 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin brings a unique mix of zoo and urban jungle together thanks to its prime location right beside the Berlin Zoo. With half of the rooms overlooking the ape and elephant areas of the zoo and the other half looking out over the landmark Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, it’s no surprise that the interior is just as diverse as its views, thanks to Berlin-based designer Werner Aisslinger.
Here you will find plenty of spaces for both work and play, starting with the reception area where the loft-like space has plenty of cozy corners, a café, a kiosk, and meeting spaces. Designed with a creative free spirit, which begins right at reception and permeates through all other spaces. Aisslinger Studio aimed at creating an interior “as diverse as the big city it is located in and as wild as a jungle.”
Public spaces include the rooftop terrace Monkey Bar, and a dry sauna on the 9th floor, both taking advantage of the hotel’s great vantage point. There are a ton of other things in this hotel’s plus column, ranging from Schindelhauer bikes for the larger rooms to the in-house bakery. There is also a 15% rate discount for MINI drivers, which is nice for those that do.
