To wake up and watch the giraffes is something special
I loved this place. From the friendly and helpful staff through to the chilled lobby with its hammocks and great bar all the way to the amazing rooms with full windowed walls overseeing the zoo.
To wake up and watch the giraffes is something special. And there were plants everywhere!!
The boutique Woodfire bakery serving coffee and cheesecake from Berlin's leading coffee roasters Five Elephant with funky lounge area (which was hosting a Dolly Parton tribute) and wall mounted bikes and hammocks to relax in whilst enjoying views of Berlin Zoo which the bakery overlooks.
I also loved that the bakery is part of the overall Bikini Berlin concept mall which you can walk right into via the cafe. The Gestalten store is next door to the cafe and it contains a huge selection of cool lifestyle products as well as a range of its famous design books, some of which are available to browse in the cafe.
