I told you that The Smallest House is not just a house. It's a cute little house with so much history in it. It's also a tea house where you can enjoying your cup of tea with your loved one. It offers you a variety of fresh loose teas and pre-packaged tea. Mostly of their teas are self-mixed and have magical scents you would never find anywhere else but here.
Tea Sets
Check their new collection of tassen-tableware, tea sets, and tea postcards as unique souvenir. They also have a wonderful assortment of delicacies as chocolate, honey, nougat, fudge and liqueur.
Tea Room
On the second floor they have a big little surprise: the smallest tearoom in Amsterdam! In a sphere of privacy and quietness up to five people can enjoy, among others, breakfast or lunch, a modest Thé Gourmand, an Afternoon Tea, a special menu around the holidays or a tea course. All of the menus are based on one or more specialty teas from the shop and pastry from their own kitchen.
You can enjoy a breakfast or lunch in this smallest tea room in Amsterdam. Or maybe just for an afternoon tea after a long day shopping. Just book the room on Hetkleinstehuis.
We were lucky to meet Nils, a friendly owner of The Smallest House in Amsterdam. He told us from A to Z about the house and their teas. It was an interesting meeting at the Hetkleinstehuis.
